Common Questions

Do you bulk-bill?
Yes we bulk bill all 20 minute Savers consultations. If you would like to have a comprehensive eye examination, which we would thoroughtly recommend, then there will be a small out of pocket cost. We hope you value your eye sight like we do. Don't compromise with your eyes.

How much does the appointment cost?
Please call us for an up to date schedule of fees on (03) 97029118.

Is there a Medicare rebate?
Yes, most consultations attract a Medicare rebate that we can put straight into your bank account.

Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed. Just simply call us to make an appointment.

Can I drive after the appointment?
To perform a through eye examination we often will dilate your pupils, especially if you are over 40 years of age. These dilation drops make the pupil (the black hole in the middle of the coloured part) very large so that we can have a 3-Dimensional view of your eye health. Unfortunately, this wide pupil makes people very glare sensitive, so don't forget to bring your sunglasses to the appointment. The drops can also cause blur for some people, please do not drive after the dilation drops if you feel your vision is blurry. If you don't currently have a good pair of sunglasses, why not have a look at our extensive range.
